Description The 674 Vinyl Repair Compounds are designed for use on bus seat vinyl. These compounds are thicker than the standard compound to improve ease of use and are available in a variety of colors commonly used on buses. Green, brown, and gray are the main colors, though a natural version is also available, with no added pigment. These compounds can be used in the same fashion as standard 675 or thick 680. For the best results, ensure the repair area is cleaned and prepared to remove any oils or dirt that may cause adhesion issues. To cure this compound, set the heat gun to 550°F-700°F, with 650°F as the ideal temperature. Layers take approximately 45 seconds to a minute to cure and should be kept relatively thin to ensure the compound cures all the way through.
